RAJEEWA WIJESINGHE

Mr. Wijesinghe was called to Bar on February 1, 2010 after obtaining his Bachelor of Laws from the University of New Brunswick. Mr. Wijesinghe is a native of Sri Lanka but has lived in the Middle East prior to immigrating with his family to Canada in the late 1990s.

Mr. Wijesinghe articled at one of the largest firms in Fraser Valley and then worked at a busy litigation firm in Richmond before finally settling down at Haddock and Company in August 2011.

Mr. Wijesinghe believes in the spirit of volunteerism and devotes time to legal clinics promoted by Access Justice BC. He also sits on the Board of Directors for S.U.C.C.E.S.S. the largest multi-service non-profit society that serves the needs of immigrant communities in British Columbia.

Mr. Wijesinghe has appeared as legal counsel in both Provincial and Supreme Court on a wide array of matters. Mr. Wijesinghe practice is focused in the areas of strata property law, non-profit housing law, construction law and immigration law.
